Honda already has a 27 percent market share in the country, with plans to bring on another production line at its Gujarat facility by 2027, increasing its capacity from 1.96 million per year to 2.61 million units.
The Gujarat plant would then surpass the one in Karnataka, becoming Honda’s biggest motorcycle plant in the world.
