The event welcomed over 80 guests for an evening of fundraising and entertainment. The dress code for the evening was elegantly set to white, extending to the table settings, creating a visually stunning and cohesive ambiance. The event brought together members of the Portuguese, French, British, and broader international communities, fostering a relaxed, friendly, and multicultural atmosphere.
Attendees were treated to a performance from Algarve Voices, a choir formed by the Algarve Rotary Clubs, and whose current Maestro is RCEPI President Vitor Rosão.
They were also serenaded by singer Vernon Delauney, whose performance kept everyone dancing throughout the night.
1300 euros were raised during the evening. This amount will be used to fund the Medical Rehabilitation Center located in São Brás de Alportel. Unique in the Algarve, this center has a re-education swimming pool facility, where people are able to leave their wheelchairs and practice daily exercises in the water. Some renovation works are urgently needed and will soon be implemented.
