The dusky langur is facing grave population loss due to human development at their native habitats, pushing them into urban areas where they are often killed in traffic collisions, by electrocution from wires, and being fed unsafe foods.

In 2019, the LPP erected their first bridge above one of the busiest roads in the area, fashioned from recycled fire hoses, and ever since there have been zero mammal deaths reported, with more than 7,000 wildlife crossings captured on camera.
