The fair, with 18 stands from publishers and bookstores, will take place next to the old fish market, on the riverside area, with a format that “aims to provide a warm and inviting environment, perfect for book lovers”, said the Portimão City Council.

With free admission, the event includes musical shows and “promises to be a landmark in the city's cultural program, offering an immersive and diverse experience”, daily, between 10am and midnight.

In addition to Pedro Chagas Freitas and Maria Francisca Gama, João Tordo, Isabela Figueiredo and Tiago R. Santos have also confirmed their presence, and will participate in debates and interactive sessions, according to the municipality's note.
