In a statement, the GNR reports that between 13 and 16 June, they arrested 15 men, aged between 16 and 47, and a 19-year-old woman, in various interventions in which it detected 19 infractions, in the municipality of Albufeira.
According to the note, as part of policing and crime-fighting operations, GNR personnel carried out various inspection actions in various locations in this Algarve municipality with the aim of “preventing and repressing illegal practices”.
The crimes that led to the arrests were one for attempted murder, nine for drug trafficking, three for trespassing, one for aggravated disobedience, one for driving under the influence of alcohol and one in compliance with a warrant to appear before the Judicial Authority.
The GNR also seized, among other materials, 157 doses of cocaine, 52 doses of hashish, two light vehicles and a bladed weapon.
GNR officers also issued 19 traffic violation reports, including one for possession of 18 nitrous oxide canisters and 10 traffic violation reports involving TVDE vehicles.
The GNR sent all the information related to these operations to the Albufeira Judicial Court.
