Car sales in Portugal experienced significant growth in 2023, increasing by more than 26% compared to the previous year.

The Portuguese automobile market registered 236,053 registered vehicles, marking a 26.1% growth, according to the Automobile Association of Portugal (ACAP).
Last year's sales were, however, still 12.3% below those of pre-pandemic 2019.
