Six districts in mainland Portugal are under a yellow warning today and on Tuesday due to the forecast of rain that is to be sometimes heavy and may be accompanied by thunderstorms, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).

The districts of Portalegre, Castelo Branco, Beja, Santarém, Faro and Évora have been under yellow warning since 12:00 and until midnight due to rain.
These six districts are again under the same level between 3pm and midnight on Tuesday.
The IPMA also issued a yellow warning due to rain for the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Guarda, Vila Real Setúbal, Lisbon, Leiria, Aveiro and Coimbra from 3pm on Tuesday and until 3am on Wednesday.
