The median value of bank appraisals for housing was €1,886 per square metre in May, €20 more than in the previous month and a 17.1% increase compared to May 2024.

In April, the annual increase had been 16.9%, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE).
In the month under review, around 35,300 bank appraisals were considered, which represents a 1.4% drop compared to April and a 7.5% increase in the annual comparison.
