The final round of matches was played at Pedras Tavira Lawn Bowls Club under beautiful Algarvian sunshine. The competition was contested between 8 Teams over the past eight weeks and played at all the bowling venues in the Algarve.

This year’s very deserved winners and crowned champions were Pedras Crocs, who remained undefeated throughout the competition and just edged out Floresta Foxes on the final day's play. Congratulations to Captain Peter Barker and his Team, pictured above, and to all the bowlers who participated in this year’s event.

A Presentation Lunch ceremony followed and was enjoyed by all at the New Jolly Sailor Restaurant in Cabanas Tavira.

Lawn and Carpet Bowls continue throughout the rest of the summer, and any non-members are most welcome to come along and enjoy a game of bowls at the weekly roll-ups.
