The Algarve is preparing to host, between the 11th and 13th of July, the 32nd edition of Algarve Classic Cars, one of the most prestigious classic car events in Europe. More than a hundred historic vehicles will once again parade along the region's roads, with the route returning to the municipalities of Olhão and Faro.

Organized by Portugal Classic, in partnership with the Portuguese Classic Car Club, the historic rally is establishing itself as an internationally renowned event, combining a passion for classic motorsport with the promotion of the Algarve's heritage and culture.

According to the president of the Organizing Committee, Luís Brito, “one of the great new features of this edition is the return of the rally to the municipalities of Olhão and Faro, cities that have not been part of the route for several years”. He also emphasises that “the inclusion of these emblematic destinations in the eastern Algarve will allow participants to enjoy a boat trip along the Ria Formosa, further enhancing the cultural and tourist aspect of the event”.

The event begins on July 11th, at the Vilamoura Marina, with the secretariat opening at 11 am. The first stage begins at 7:00 pm, with a circuit next to the Vilamoura Casino.

On Saturday, July 12, the competition resumes at 9:30 am with the Falconeri Stage, passing through Quarteira and stopping for a special event at Cerro de São Miguel at 10:20 am. The finish line in Olhão is scheduled for 11:00 am, where a boat trip on the Ria Formosa will take place at 11:20 am. In the afternoon, the peloton will head to the Centro Porsche Faro Stage, passing through São Brás de Alportel (4:30 pm), Loulé (5:30 pm) and finishing at the Vilamoura Casino (6:20 pm).

On Sunday, July 13th, the Liqui Moly Stage will take place, leaving Vilamoura at 9:30 am, passing through the Rampa da Picota (9:50 am), neutralizations at the Albufeira Marina (10:40 am) and Vila Vita Parc (11:30 am), culminating at the Opticalia Circuit, in Armação de Pêra, at 12 pm. The awards ceremony will take place at the Epic Sana Algarve hotel, at 3:30 pm.
