This increase reflects a greater awareness among the Portuguese of the importance of health protection, even if the growth rate has slowed in recent years.

Although the health insurance market has experienced strong growth in the past, current statistics point to a stabilization in its growth, likely reflecting the country's economic and social conditions, as well as consumers' financial capacity to purchase these types of products.
