Even in the world of luxury real estate, some areas are more exclusive than others. Looking at the most expensive streets to buy a house in Portugal, properties located in Cascais are particularly prominent in the top 10. However, the most expensive place of all to buy a house is in Quinta do Lago, in the Algarve.
Buying a house in Quinta do Lago costs, on average, 8,106,364 euros in July.

Rounding out the top three in this luxury ranking is Rua Soto Maior in Sintra, where buying a home costs an average of €3,912,000. In third place is Avenida dos Descobrimentos in Lagos, with an average housing cost of €3,797,450.
The fourth address with the most exclusive prices to buy a home is Rua Vilas do Mar, in the parish of Carvalhal, Setúbal district (€3,644,444). Next in the ranking are Rua Faias in Cascais (€3,589,091) and Rua Melo e Sousa in Estoril, where the average luxury home price is approximately €3,554,768.
In seventh place is Rua dos Pinheiros in Cascais, with houses priced at an average of €3,312,105. The list of the ten most expensive streets to buy a house is completed by Rua do Pinhal in Estoril (€3,195,000), Avenida 24 de Julho in Lisbon (€3,054,850), and Rua Carreira de Tiro in Barcarena, Oeiras (€3,021,933).
The numbers you present together with the locations give you a relative view between areas. However, what type of houses are you comparing (eg no of rooms, house size, land size, facilities (eg pool, condo), view, space around the property, beachfront etc etc.? Knowing Costa da Guia very well (which is where several of your locations are), prices can be all over the place depending on a number of factors…
