The companies acquired are mainly present in the south of Portugal and work on the distribution of tobacco, drinks and other food products, as stated by Essential Business.

The notification for the purchase of the companies by Grupo Bel was received by AdC on 31 July. The request aimed the full control of the companies.

Marco Galinha, CEO of Grupo Bel, bought companies based in the Algarve, having in common the trade of coffee, food and beverages, except Sobral & Renato, focused on the distribution of tobacco products.
