According to the president of the Beira Baixa Intermunicipal Community (CIMBB), this was the culmination of the first phase of the competition, whose acceptance terms for the successful candidates involved 11 companies from the region.

The ceremony took place at the Sertã City Hall, where CIMBB and the Management Authority of the Centro Regional Program 2030 participated in the approval ceremony for the 11 projects.

"This was the first phase. There will be new calls for proposals. The municipalities that are part of the CIM decided to withdraw this amount from their funds for the companies," explained João Lobo.

According to the president of the CIMBB and the Proença-a-Nova City Council, this approval will create approximately one hundred jobs in the region.

The CIMBB includes the municipalities of Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova, Oleiros, Penamacor, Proença-a-Nova, Sertã, Vila de Rei, and Vila Velha de Ródão.
