Currently, anyone who registers by the 18th will pay a minimum donation of 10 euros. On the day of the event, participation is still possible, but with a minimum donation of 15 euros.

Organized by the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA), in partnership with the Loulé City Council, the Quarteira Parish Council, the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ), and the Algarve Athletics Association (AAALG), the Mamamaratona once again symbolizes a solidarity movement that unites the community around prevention, health, and the fight against cancer.

As in previous years, MM25 will include several sports, such as the 5 and 7 kilometer (km) walk/run, included in the Algarve Regional Walk and Run Calendar (IPDJ), as well as a 10.5 and 21 km mini and half marathon, organized by AAALG.

In 2024, this initiative, part of Pink October, had over 3,500 participants.

Registration can be completed online here or in person in Faro and Loulé.

In Faro, registration is available at the AOA Headquarters or at the Forum Algarve Information Desk.

In the municipality of Loulé, registration is available at the Quarteira Municipal Center (Quarteira Parish Council) and at the Artbody gymnasium in the Galerias de São Francisco.

Registration also includes a kit that includes a bag/backpack, cotton t-shirt, cap, and pamphlets/promotional items.
