According to idealista, a total of 27,292 homes were licensed for construction during the period indicated. Regarding the rehabilitation and construction of residential buildings, a 9% increase was recorded compared to the same period last year, which translates to the issuance of 13,488 licenses. The data was revealed in the Housing Statistical Summary in October by the Association of Civil Construction and Public Works Industries (AICCOPN).

It was in the North of the country that the largest increase in licenses was observed, with regard to new constructions, according to idealista. In the region, 17,807 houses were licensed, 16% more when compared to the same period last year. 25% of licenses relate to T0 or T1 apartments, 28% refer to T2 apartments, 40% to T3 apartments, and 7% to T4 or higher apartments.
