The operation, according to a statement from the GNR, aims to reduce accidents, ensure traffic flow, and support all road users during the All Saints' Day celebrations, which traditionally lead people to visit cemeteries.
The GNR says that high traffic volume is expected during the operation and therefore recommends that drivers drive safely.
In this regard, the guard asks drivers to comply with traffic rules, especially regarding overtaking maneuvers, changing direction, reversing, yielding the right of way, and maintaining a safe distance.
It also recommends the correct use of seat belts and child restraint systems, not using mobile phones while driving, adjusting speed to the type of road and traffic conditions, and not consuming alcoholic beverages or psychotropic substances before or during driving.
