According to ECO, it is therefore possible to determine a potential 2.3% increase in toll prices to be applied in 2026.
The final reading of the inflation data will be released on November 12, which may tell Portuguese highway concessionaires whether or not they can increase toll prices in 2026.
By law, concessionaires must submit their proposal for the revision of toll prices to the Government by November 15, which may come into effect on January 1, 2026. After the documents are submitted, the State has 30 days to respond, and only then will the specific adjustment for each highway be known.
