According to promoter Live Experiences, David Byrne will perform at the festival on July 14, 2026.

The show's program will include, in addition to new songs, “classics from his solo career and with Talking Heads.” The musician thus returns to the festival where he performed in 2018, “for a concert guided by the maestro of musical theatricality.”

David Byrne is a multidisciplinary artist whose career spans various fields. "Between composing for dance and theatre, he wrote numerous books on music theory and memoirs of his life, in addition to participating in the world of cinema. He founded the Luaka Bop publishing house, which played a crucial role in introducing South American and African artists to Western audiences," recalls the promoter.

Tickets for David Byrne's show at Ageas CoolJazz, priced from 40 to 65 euros, are already on sale.

The festival returns to the Manuel Possolo Hippodrome and Marechal Carmona Park between July 1st and 31st, 2026.

For the 2026 edition, Jamiroquai had already been announced for July 18th, and Diana Krall for July 22nd.
