The program will feature the British singer Rod Stewart and, as is also tradition, the band Xutos & Pontapés.
"The 11th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa is preparing to make history!", said the event's organizers when announcing a day dedicated to celebrating "artists who have marked generations and continue to inspire the future".
The headliner (the third to be announced so far) for this day is "one of the greatest legends in the history of music and an unmissable figure on the international scene": we are talking about Rod Stewart.
The singer was on the Meo Arena stage earlier this year, on May 13th, as part of his farewell tour, called 'One Last Time', which sold out in the Portuguese venue.
The confirmation also marks Stewart's return to Rock in Rio Lisboa, after having participated in the 2008 edition. This time, it will be "a special show", assures the event's organizers, "to sing along to every song".
Finally, Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026 also announced the performance of Portuguese musician Syro, who will have the responsibility of opening the day on the Super Bock Stage, "representing the contemporaneity of national music".
During the first weekend of the 11th edition of the event, Katy Perry, Pedro Sampaio, Calema and Napa will take the stage on Saturday, the 20th; and Linkin Park, Cypress Hill, Kaiser Chiefs and Grandson.
