The AIA management states, in a press release, a "22% increase in attendance on Friday and 11% on Saturday," with the MotoGP Portugal 2025 event thus becoming a record-breaker in terms of attendance in the circuit's grandstands.
Miguel Praia, one of the administrators of the Algarve International Circuit, reveals the “reinforcement in the commitment to creating the best experience for the public with more leisure and entertainment areas, such as the Fan Zone, which was always lively throughout the three days. The opening ceremony was unique in the context of recent GPs and was one of the highlights of a weekend that we knew would be special for Miguel Oliveira and all Portuguese people.” The AIA administrator also emphasises that “this record attendance shows that we are on the right track to create increasingly better and more attractive events.”
Jaime Costa, CEO of the Algarve International Circuit, highlights “the economic importance of this event for the region and for Portugal, and clearly in this respect it is a winning bet, especially because we are in the low season.”
