The fire that broke out this morning in a smoke extraction duct in the food court area of the Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre in Lisbon, without causing any casualties, was extinguished at 10:00 am.

A source from the Lisbon Fire Brigade told Lusa that since then, firefighters have been carrying out mopping-up operations.
The alert for the fire in the Burger King restaurant was given at 9:19 am.
Because of the fire, the floor where the restaurant is located was evacuated as a precaution.
28 firefighters and nine vehicles were on site.
