"From January to November 2025, 239,843 new vehicles were put into circulation, representing an increase of 6.6% compared to the same period of the previous year," it indicated in a statement.
In November alone, 20,245 motor vehicles were registered, a 4.5% increase compared to the same month in 2024.
By market, year-to-date, there were 204,160 registrations of passenger cars, a 7.7% increase.
As detailed by the association, 69.3% of new passenger vehicles registered were powered by other types of energy, namely electric and hybrid vehicles.
In turn, the light commercial vehicle market grew by 0.3% during this period, reaching 28,803 units.
Up to November, registrations of heavy vehicles totalled 6,880 units, progressing 1.7% compared to the same period in 2024.
In another statement, ACAP reported that the electric vehicle market grew by 32.6% up to November, with 127,660 units registered.
