In a statement, Metro do Porto informs that from Wednesday to Thursday, the operation will not stop, the only exception being the Violet Line (E), whose journeys will end, as on normal days, around 1:00am.

This "special reinforcement" begins at 8:00pm on Wednesday, right away on the Yellow Line (D), where the Aliados station is located (location of the fireworks display at midnight), which will have trains running every six minutes until 3:00am and approximately every seven minutes thereafter.

On the Blue Line (A), trains run essentially every 10 minutes until 3:00am and every 15 minutes thereafter, while on the Green Line (C), trains run every 15 minutes until midnight, then every 30 minutes until 6:00am.

On the Red Line (B), trains run every 30 minutes until 6:00am. Finally, on the Orange Line (F), trains run every 20 minutes between 8:00pm and 3:00am and every 30 minutes between 3:00am and 6:00am.
