In 1950, it was the biggest cinema in Portugal. And it hasn’t slowed down since. As various film festivals and movies are being shown in the truly magnificent building.

It even honors some of the Portuguese Greats that have shaped the scene in Portugal. Famous director Manoel de Oliveira is honored with a room.

Another specialty of the cinema is its exclusive 21 seat room, allowing for exclusive screenings and events.
