Blacktower Financial Management is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its specialist services in the Algarve, reinforcing the region’s central role in the firm’s international growth strategy. David Vacani, CEO at Beacon Global Wealth, joins Blacktower as Associate Director as part of the high-net-worth division led by head of Portugal, Manuela Robinson, further strengthening her long-established Algarve team. Working under Manuela’s leadership, David will help head up the enhanced offering for ultra-high-net-worth and internationally mobile clients, supporting the division’s continued development across the region.

David Vacani brings extensive experience guiding ultra-high-net-worth and internationally mobile clients toward structured, cross-border financial planning. In addition to his leadership at Beacon Global Wealth, he had previously served as Chairman of FEIFA (Federation of European Independent Financial Advisers), providing him with deep insight into the needs of expatriate and foreign-resident investors across Europe. His appointment strengthens Blacktower’s ability to support the growing community of affluent retirees, entrepreneurs, and families choosing the Algarve as their home.

The new division will focus on tailored wealth planning, estate structuring, pension and investment coordination, and locally based client support delivered from Blacktower’s long-established Algarve office. David will work closely with Manuela Robinson—herself well known for her entrepreneurial leadership in Portugal—to develop specialist solutions designed for high-value clients who require guidance that reflects both their lifestyle and their regulatory jurisdiction.

John Westwood, Group Chairman, Blacktower Financial Management:

“The Algarve has been at the heart of Blacktower’s story for decades. It is not only one of Europe’s most desirable destinations, but also a region where expatriates expect high standards of care and compliance. Expanding our offering here, and welcoming David Vacani to work alongside Manuela Robinson, underlines our long-term commitment to the community that helped shape our global success. The Algarve remains a cornerstone of our next chapter.”

David Vacani commented:

“I am delighted to join a firm with such a strong heritage and presence in the Algarve. Blacktower has always understood that international clients need more than generic planning—they need people who live in the same towns, face the same challenges, and are supported by robust regulatory foundations.”

The appointment and service expansion mark another milestone in Blacktower’s continued development in Portugal, a market that has attracted significant numbers of high-net-worth residents in recent years.
