Among the confirmed flights, there are expected to be 7 to Majorca, 7 to Ibiza, and 5 to Menorca.
The information is revealed by the Spanish newspaper Hosteltur, which quotes Paloma Utreta, Market Manager for Spain and France at TAP Air Portugal.
TAP will connect Lisbon to 12 Spanish cities, namely Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Málaga, Valencia, and Bilbao. There will also be connections to the Canary Islands, namely Tenerife South and Gran Canaria.
TAP's connections in Spain will also facilitate passenger access to the international network of airlines, connecting to Europe, North and South America and also Africa.
In addition to connecting to the Spanish islands, TAP has also announced routes to Athens, starting on 1 July, with five flights per week. A route connecting Lisbon to Curitiba, Brazil, starting in May has also been announced.
