When you arrive at Praia do Camilo in Lagos, you don’t see the beach straight away, just cliffs and a long wooden staircase leading down. And as you walk, the view keeps getting better with every step.

At the bottom, it opens up into a small beach with crystal-clear water and those incredible rock formations all around. The last time I visited, I couldn’t get over the colours of the ocean; it honestly looked even more unreal than at other beaches.

If you’re in Lagos, this is one place you have to visit at least once.
