The new supermarket will open in Amarante, Porto, with an inauguration scheduled for October.

In a press release, Mercadona states that "this new store will have a sales area of ​​1,900 m2 and will include the following sections: Butcher, Fishmonger, Delicatessen, Pastry and Bakery, Fruits and Vegetables, Perfumery, Home Care and Pets, Wine Cellar, and Ready-to-Eat with self-service and various options of prepared dishes to take away or eat in the store, in an exclusive area for this purpose."

With the store in Amarante, Mercadona reinforces its presence in the Porto district, which already has 26 stores. For now, the hiring process is not yet complete.
