The initiative, co-financed by EU funds through the Algarve2030 and Portugal2030 programs, aims to prepare local government employees for the challenges of the digital and climate transition, administrative modernisation, and the decentralisation of competencies.

In a statement, the municipality indicated that the first training session took place in July and addressed the topic "Spreadsheet – Advanced Functionalities."

With this project, the city aims to strengthen the technical and organisational training of its professionals, promoting more efficient administration aligned with the new demands of the public sector, according to the city's statement.
