A mixed martial arts gym in Glengormley is offering young people the chance to train for free – not just for a trial period, but for life.

The idea was inspired by head coach Danny Corr’s experience training teenagers in Rio’s favelas 15 years ago, which profoundly impacted the local youth and helped them stay off the streets.
Currently, there are around 20 free places available, but Corr insists no one will be turned away.
