The Inuit-led company is developing the Grays Bay Road and Port Project in Nunavut. The project could support both civilian and military use, and it aims to create the first overland link between Arctic shipping routes and North America’s highway system.
The project includes a deepwater Arctic port, a 230 km all-season road and an airstrip. It is expected to boost northern development and improve access to global markets, and the investment signals growing private-sector interest in Arctic infrastructure.
