The Christmas Circus returns to the Coliseu dos Recreios to uphold Lisbon’s oldest festive tradition: bringing whole families together to enjoy a show that spans generations and remains in everyone’s memory, from the youngest to the oldest. Beneath the dome that has witnessed over a century of performers, acrobats, tightrope walkers, jugglers and clowns from all corners of the world take to the stage in a brand-new programme designed to surprise first-time visitors and to thrill those who grew up watching the circus in this very same venue.
