Halloweek is also the perfect time to visit the temporary exhibition ‘Sea Monsters’, as this is, after all, the most ‘terrifying’ time of the year. In the Oceanarium’s main lobby, young and old alike embark on a fascinating journey through the history of marine life, discovering some of the most impressive predators that have inhabited the ocean over millions of years. Through life-size models, these extraordinary giants provide an immersive and awe-inspiring experience.

This Halloween, the Lisbon Oceanarium swaps scares for the discovery of the ocean’s riches, from the incredible creatures that have shaped its history to the species that make up the marine ecosystem today.
