On the evening of 5 November, the doors of the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium will open to host the 12th edition of “The Magic of 1001 Nights”, the annual oriental dance show that has become an unmissable cultural highlight in the town of Lagoa. Originally conceived by Gabriela Sharifa and produced by Ideias do Levante, this year’s show once again celebrates the beauty and diversity of oriental dance under the choreographic direction of Graciete Anwar. The highlight of the evening will be the performance by the acclaimed oriental dance troupe “Zhar Louz” (Almond Trees in Bloom), whose dancers bring the grace and energy of their choreography to the stage.
