Coimbra City Council has approved the opening of an international public tender to contract the architectural and technical projects for the future Palace of Justice, advancing a plan long awaited by the city.

This proposal, endorsed unanimously, involves an investment of €1.07 million and is part of the agreement between the municipality and the Institute of Financial Management and Equipment of Justice.
The tender will set a 330-day deadline for project delivery, 120 days for the preliminary study, 210 days for the execution project, plus the technical review, which is the responsibility of the IGFEJ.
