The event, attended by 47 members and friends, was a great success, partly due no doubt, to what has become a novelty in the Algarve, a beautiful sunny day!!

The hotly contested Helen Cafolla trophy was won for the second year in a row by Jerry Campion with a score of 36 strokes, presented by Damian Clarke, Chairman of the St. Patrick’s Society.

The runner-up was Jim O'Reagan, just one stroke behind on 37.

The next Society outing is the flagship event of the year: the annual Dinner Dance to celebrate St.Patrick's Day.

This will take place in the Penina Hotel and Golf Resort on Friday, March 13th at 7.30pm.
