The World Wellness Weekend aims to bring communities from around the world together in a celebration of wellness and healthy lifestyles. The global non-profit initiative brings together 15,000 venues, more than 2,000 cities and 187 countries, which will be invited to open their doors and offer free activities accessible to the public.
Reference hotels and spas from various projects embrace the initiative, which may also include thermal destinations and wellness projects linked to nature. Portugal will participate this year, offering different natural and hospitality resources, with a wide range of wellness experiences.
In the case of Portugal, the following participating venues have already been confirmed: Tivoli Spa Marina Vilamoura – Beach Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga with Ice Tub experience; The Yeatman Wine Spa – Tibetan Singing Bowls, Bio-Energetic Meditation and Flow Together; Sisley Paris Spa – Quick Massage and A Touch of Tranquility experiences; Vidago Palace Thermal Spa, Termas de São Pedro do Sul, Termas das Caldas da Rainha, Águas do Gerês – Hotel Termas & Spa, H2OTEL – Aquadome / Termas de Unhais da Serra and Termas de Caldelas. Programs may include fitness classes, yoga, Pilates, walks, runs, dance, martial arts, meditation and relaxation sessions. Workshops dedicated to nutrition, sleep, mindfulness, or personal development may also be included. Activities will be suitable for any age and experience level.
