Emmanuel Macron, the French president, and Mohammad bin Salman, the Saudi crown prince, revealed the information.

The two leaders signed an agreement that foresees the construction of three theme parks, one of which will have a manga theme, near Cergy-Pontoise. The parks aim to generate 22,000 jobs.

Qiddiya is leading the project, and the idea reportedly arose after a conversation between Macron and Mohammad bin Salman in December 2024, when they discovered their shared interest in manga, especially Dragon Ball.

There is still no date for construction to begin, nor a date for the park's opening. However, Macron reportedly described the project as "extraordinary" and intends to create a global destination on the scale of Disneyland Paris.
