Thank you to everyone who came along for the ride yesterday, it was a pleasant ride from SCFB in quite warm weather in the end .

I am away next weekend, but I have asked my former colleague Marco to lead the ride for me so the ride can go ahead in my absence . Marco has recently left Algarve Bike Holidays and set up his own business offering E-MTB tours so he is well qualified for the job.

Sunday Morning 6th September :- Bike ride starting in Paderne, we will meet in the car park at the bottom of the hill , here:

Meet at 08.45 ready for a start at 09.00 am

This will be a ride of around 35 to 40 km and up to 500 m climbing and with a coffee break somewhere along the way.

As I always say, I need a minimum of 5 people to sign up for the ride to take place, so don't be shy, please let me know by 12.00 midday on Saturday if you wish to attend. If I don't have at least 5 signed up by then then I will cancel and notify any that have signed up . If you don't sign up and just turn up, you might be disappointed ...

If you would like to come along to one of these rides, please do let me know either via whatsapp, or e.mail! If a ride has to be cancelled for any reason, such as bad weather, then notification of cancellation will be via whatsapp, so please make sure that I have your mobile phone number!

If in doubt about your health or you have a medical condition that may be affected by exercise, then please consult your GP before joining a ride. Riders must wear a safety helmet for their own protection. Price for participation is €5 per rider per ride.

Riders are responsible for their own safety and should be able to ride competently on a variety of road surfaces and traffic conditions. You participate in these rides at your own risk and no person(s) or organisation(s) can be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to yourself.

Riders should also make sure that their bike is well maintained and in good and safe working condition and carry at least one spare inner tube and a pump.
