The artist is known for working in both realistic and abstract styles. This exhibition will, for the first time, feature works in which she combines these two approaches.

Canvases, which at first glance appear as abstract mix of colour, are in fact a combination of realistic landscapes of the surrounding villages, allowing the viewer to appreciate the technical skill of the classical school and the artist’s masterful brushwork, whilst offering a beautiful contemporary piece capable of enhancing an interior of any style.

As before, a distinctive feature of her works, the edges of the oil canvases are hand-painted in the style of Portuguese Azulejos. The exhibition also presents, for the first time, the artist’s five-minute live drawings, which are striking for their anatomical accuracy captured in a single line.

When Alisa is asked how long it takes to create such a drawing, she replies, "years and tonnes of paper". You just can't miss it!

The exhibition is open from 9 October to 6 November. Tuesday to Sunday, 10.30 am to 5.00 pm. Address: R. Primeiro de Maio 119, Ferragudo. Entrance free.
