“I feel better,” André Ventura told reporters as he left the health unit.
The Chega leader also said that the diagnosis “seems to indicate an esophageal spasm, a spasm with acute characteristics”.
“We were able to do a series of tests that were able to reassure us a lot about the heart problem. The doctors and the hospital advised me to take medication and stop for a while,” he added.
The Chega leader also said that he will still have to “carry out other analyses later”.
André Ventura confirmed that he will not participate in the closing of the campaign for the legislative elections, on Friday, and said that he is “very sorry” to be absent in the final stretch.
Moments before, around 10:25 pm, André Ventura shared another photo on social media, lying in a hospital bed, in a post in which he wrote: “exams completed, I'm going back home”.
The Chega leader left, accompanied by security guards and his wife.
