“A fantastic result for our national football team in the Nations League! 25 years later, Portugal beat the German team and are now in the final. On Sunday, we will all be Portugal”, reads a post on the Prime Minister's official page on the social network X.

Portugal, winner of the inaugural edition in 2019 in Porto, qualified for the Nations League final for the second time, beating hosts Germany (2-1) in the semi-finals of the fourth edition of the youngest European national team competition, in Munich.

On Sunday, also in Munich, from 9 pm local time (8 pm in Lisbon), the team will face Spain, European champion and title holder, or France, winner in 2021, who face each other in the other semi-final on Thursday, in Stuttgart.
