According to data from Switcher IE, Portugal occupies the ranking as the 11th most expensive country to charge a car. On average, it costs €17,14 to fully charge a vehicle, and €4,70 for each 100 kilometres. Portugal occupies the 11th place in the ranking, behind Finland and Poland.

The ranking table is led by Germany, where it costs €25,73 to fully charge a car. On the other hand, Turkey is the country where charging a car is cheaper, costing only €4,05 to charge a car, full battery.

According to the same data, there is a trend being registered in Western Europe, where the highest charging prices are higher, even though it is the location where electric cars are most popular.
