In a statement, Solverde highlighted the 11% increase in Portuguese guests, noting a clear upward trend in domestic tourism, representing 41% of the total tourists at the Hotel Solverde Spa & Wellness Center (Vila Nova de Gaia), Hotel Casino Chaves, Hotel Algarve Casino (Portimão) and Hotel Apartamento Solverde (Espinho).

The German market is the nationality with the largest increase in bookings, around 15%, followed by Spain with 4% growth, the United Kingdom, France and Germany.

“Ireland, the Netherlands, the United States, and Switzerland also have a significant weight in the total reservations,” the group added.

Quoted in the statement, the general manager of Solverde Hotels considered that “the increase in tourism, increasingly driven by Portuguese guests, reflects the confidence in the units and the excellent service” of the group.

“A clear sign of this recognition is the strong growth in direct bookings, which registered a 27% increase through our channels, without intermediaries. These are numbers that make us proud and show that we are on the right track in enhancing the guest experience,” stated Albano Rosa.
