Northern Line reopened for trains

Rail traffic on the Northern Line for long-distance service between Braga and Lisbon, and on the Minho Line, resumed today, with all trains expected to run, CP (Portuguese Railways) announced at 06:00.

According to the company, the Intercidades service on the Beira Alta Line will also be restored today, covering the entire route.

In a note published on Facebook, CP indicates that, following Wednesday’s storm, rail traffic remains suspended on the Douro Line, between Régua and Pocinho, the Oeste Line, and the Coimbra Urban lines.
