At Lisbon Coffee Week, visitors can attend a festival that "combines educational content, workshops and competitions. In this edition, the highlight will be the Coffee Market, at 8 Marvila, from 27 to 29 March."

At the event, which is expected to attract 3,000 visitors, those who intend to attend Lisbon Coffee Week will be able to experience "themed walks, sensory experiences and creative workshops. These are just some examples of the activities that Lisbon Coffee Week has prepared for everyone who wants to learn more about coffee and join a community that is increasingly aware of the production and consumption of the beverage," as described in a press release.

At Lisbon Coffee Week, 40 brands are expected, "including national and international roasters, equipment and accessories." Visitors will be able to sample different coffees from different locations, getting to know “various roasters, equipment and accessories, ensuring that visitors find everything they need to enjoy a quality coffee at home.”

There are also “themed areas such as the Alpro Roaster Alley, dedicated exclusively to local and international roasters, and the Third Wave Water Cupping Room, an area to discover new coffees with green coffee importers, who bring new batches to the event.”

The Coffee Market begins on Friday, 27 March, with opening at 2 pm and closing at 7 pm. From its opening, initiatives such as a “lecture that will reflect on how science can elevate speciality coffee” are expected.

On Saturday, 28 March, focusing on sustainability, visitors will be able to attend a lecture with an expert on the subject, “who will present the Portuguese science that works behind the scenes to ensure that coffee resists climate change and devastating diseases.”

On the last day of the Coffee Market, you can attend “a talk focused on entrepreneurship, where real business experiences will be shared, especially geared towards those who want to turn their passion into a profitable business without losing their way.”
