According to international trade statistics from the National Institute of Statistics (INE), excluding TTE transactions (i.e., those related to or following work on order, without transfer of ownership), exports increased by 0.9% and imports grew by 4.3%.

Considering only the month of March, exports and imports of goods registered nominal year-on-year increases of 10.6% and 11.6%, respectively (-14.5% and -4.2% in the same order in February 2026).

When TTE transactions are excluded, the increases were more significant: +14.6% in exports and +11.9% in imports (-6.1% and -2.0%, respectively, in February 2026).
