As quoted by Essential Business, Miguel Pinto Luz stated that “there is no longer chaos at the airports. There has been a reinforcement of the security forces that are controlling borders at all airports, namely at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon.”

The Minister has also mentioned that the long queues and delays at Portuguese airports were monitored by the ministry, in coordination with the Minister of Home Affairs, who is leading the processes, through the reinforcement of border control.
