The Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) stated that at the end of June, "264,517 unemployed individuals were registered with employment services across the mainland and autonomous regions, a figure representing 65.5% of the total 403,995 job applications."

There are 28,971 fewer people registered at employment centres compared to June of the previous year. Contributing to this decline in absolute terms were those registered for less than 12 months (-18,547), those seeking new employment (-25,209), and those over the age of 25 (-24,279).

In a month-on-month comparison, that is, relative to May, there are 10,249 fewer people registered at employment centres.

This marks the fifth consecutive month that the number of unemployed people registered at employment centres has fallen; the downward trend has persisted since February.
